West Washington will be hosting a fundraiser for our employee Tony Holman. Tony received a cancer diagnosis in the late summer and has been off of work undergoing treatments. Tony is in great spirits and we look forward to him joining us when he is able.
It is our goal to raise money that allows Tony to focus on his battle with cancer and eliminates concerns of bills and missed income. Please join us by attending Monday's football action at Art Sander's Field.
On Monday, we will host North Davies JV at 6 pm and following that contest we will host the Salem Jr High team. All revenue from the concession stand and grill will go directly to Tony.
Morning Breeze Cattle Farm has donated half pound burgers that will be sold from the grill. They will sell a bit higher than normal WW Grill Burgers due to their size. Other food will be available from the concession and all proceeds will go to Tony.
Join us for some football fun for a good cause!

The Washington County Relay for LIfe event hosted at WWSC will go on as scheduled with a slight adjustment. The event will be held inside at the T. Kermit Tower Gymnasium and Cafeteria.
Those needing proximity parking should park in the circle parking lot nearest Door 2 or by the Superintendent's Office near Door 14. Both doors will be open to access the gym. All other attendees can enter through Door 6 at the front of the building.
The fireworks planned for the end of the event will no longer be part of the schedule. The groups sponsoring the fireworks graciously are awarding those funds to the WW Relay Team. Sponsors included; Eddie Gilstrap Ford Dealership, Temple & Temple, Richardson's Heating and Cooling and Roberts Farms.

WWSC will be on a regular schedule today 9/27/24.

Elementary Picture Day
Thursday, September 26th

Today, Dr. Girgis presented at the CELL Early College High School - New Schools Workshop. She was one of three administrators asked to share about their school's endorsement process based on demonstrating excellence in meeting all 8 Core Principles of Early College designation. High school teams from around the state were present to learn more about the Early College High School endorsement process.
West Washington is proud of our EC endorsement and how this enhances the supports we are able to offer our students to excel academically and personally. Early college high schools turn obstacles into opportunities for students success.

No pets are allowed at WWSC events.
Please refrain from bringing pets to athletic or other school functions.

On our opening day for staff we were able to provide a terrific meal thanks to WW Alumni Darlene Knapp.
The food was delicious and it was made possible by generous donations from the following vendors; First Harrison Bank, James Franklin, German American Insurance, Educational Furniture- Max Goecker and American Fidelity.

The first, first day for the Class of 2037 is off to a great start! All smiles!
