At this weekends Holiday Tournament, the 4 schools teamed up to raise awareness about the harmful effects of vaping. Students from WW Jr High spoke and the players all wore Anti-Vaping team shirts.

The drug epidemic is real. At WWSC we have a random (non-punitive) drug screen policy to intervene and provide counseling to students that need it before it is too late. We can also screen at the request of the parent.

WWES Student Council is sponsoring a Grinch Dress Up Day and they will be doing a Candy-Gram fundraiser before Christmas.
WWES students planted daffodil bulbs today, which tied in nicely to the letter of the week, "D"!
A BIG thank you to Libby Kruer for always volunteering her time to teach our kids about gardening and to Salem Ace Hardware for donating the 100 daffodil bulbs for our project.
Recently, 4th grade students created Ecosystem dioramas. They have worked hard researching, creating, and learning about ecosystems. The students presented their dioramas to their classmates. All of the projects are now on display in the 4th grade hallway.
