West Washington National Honor Society will begin inviting qualifying students to apply for membership on August 19th. These students will be receiving a letter that explains how to apply. Deadline for application is October 1st.
This year, we will be doing the NHS induction on October 22nd in the auditorium with finger foods. This is a change from last year, where induction was part of the spring honor banquet. We will continue to host the honor banquet, just without the induction ceremony.

The 6th graders have opened their science curriculum for the new school year by studying the Scientific Method, measurements and tools, and branches of science. And as usual, they topped off their 1st unit of study with the annual Owl Pellet Dissection Lab.
