When 3rd grade students started the Back on Track program, they struggled calculating area. Teachers used a variety of strategies to help students succeed. Every day students get more confident with their skills.

Students in Ms. Boling's "Back on Track" group learned how to calculate perimeter and area of non-quadrilateral shapes utilizing food.
The "Back on Track" program is in its 4th week and we have seen significant gains in our students!

We love the ladies in our school clinic. Nurse Dawn Woods and assistant Tristen Williams have been instrumental in keeping our school open and safe for our staff and students.

Are you looking for a fun, safe, inviting, and engaging Preschool for next year? Well the YMCA is the place for your kiddo!
We offer classes for children ages 3-5, with both part-day and full-day options. Depending on the age & class they are enrolled in, locations at the YMCA, Bradie Shrum Elementary, and West Washington Elementary are available.
Our teachers engage our students through social interaction, play, and hands-on learning to get your child Kindergarten ready.
There will an open registration on April 14 at the YMCA from 5-7pm.

Information Regarding Vaccinations for 16+
Our governor issued a statement lifting the mask mandate on 4/6.
The mandate for wearing a mask in schools, hospitals & other locations was NOT lifted. Staff, students & visitors will still be expected to follow the previously adopted guidelines for mask wearing at school.
For current 6th-8th graders
There will be an informational meeting about next spring's Washington D.C. trip on Friday, April 2 at 6:30 via Zoom. Anyone who can not attend, but would like information can contact Nathan Lewis at lewisn@wwcs.k12.in.us.

WWSC will be in school on Friday 3/19/21. It is a make up day for one of the snow days we had in January.
Reminder-
Kindergarten students will not attend school on Monday 3/15 or Tuesday 3/16.
