How has West Washington helped you prepare for your future plans?

\r\n

Support from the whole community and staff at the school.  Everybody wants to see you succeed and they set you up to do so.  Also, the Guidance department and Stacy Nance have helped with the submitting of information to colleges for scholarships,” explained Lane.

Lane has made a lasting impression on West Washington over the years:

\r\n

“A quote I think about constantly as a coach is ‘What do you do when nobody is watching?’  Lane Hoefler is a player that comes to mind when I think of this quote. Lane has put countless hours in the gym working on his game to become the basketball player he is today. There are many nights after practice when everyone else has left and Lane is getting extra shots. It's not by chance that he has the opportunity to play basketball at the college level. Through hard work, dedication, and getting up thousands of shots in the gym he has earned the right to play collegiate basketball. I am extremely proud of Lane and glad I got to see his growth as a player and student these past few years.” - Clayton Sullivan, West Washington Head Basketball Coach
