West Washington Community Schools is excited to introduce another great addition to our elementary school.  Please welcome our newest 4th grade teacher, Blair Sanders. This is Blair’s first official classroom, however, she has worked at Morgan Elementary in Palmyra and Northaven Elementary in Jeffersonville.  “Ms. Sanders has done a great job coming in at the semester to take over for Mrs. Wingler.  Ms. Sanders has worked well with the other 4th grade teachers.  She has great classroom management and has developed a relationship with all of her students,” explained Elementary School Principal, Tom Rosenbaum.

Blair joined WWES at the start of the second semester and has been impressed with her new experience.  “Everyone at West Washington has been so welcoming and helpful. The school is very different from what I have seen elsewhere so it has been interesting getting used to it, but I am excited for the semester,” explained Ms. Sanders.

Blair has been very busy over the last few weeks.  “I just graduated from IUS mid-December so it has been an exciting few weeks,”  she stated.

Ms. Sanders was quick to mention her family.  She is the youngest of three siblings and an aunt to a handful of nieces and nephews.

In her free time outside of school, Blair enjoys spending her weekends axe throwing, watching football, and just spending time with family.
