Last week the West Washington (WW)  Football team lost against Springs Valley. The team is working hard to improve on their mistakes for their next matchup against the Paoli Rams.

“Our team moved the ball well from 20 to 20. We had some nice plays in the passing game, but we’ve got to do a better job finishing drives once we get into the red zone,” WW head coach Jeremy Lowery said.

In the game versus Springs Valley Gavin Hunt threw for 195 yards on 17/29 passing. Hayden Morrow had eight receptions for 92 yards. Colton Brown had seven receptions for 94 yards.

During halftime the WW Youth Football League was recognized. The program has over 65 elementary athletes participating. The Senators are excited for the future and can’t wait to see how these young athletes develop.

“Paoli is a very well-coached team, and they’ll make you earn everything you get. We need to have a great week of practice, and each of our players needs to focus on improving this week so we’re ready to compete,” Lowery said.
