West Washington is thrilled to introduce our new FFA Sponsor, Bethany Hepp. Bethany brings a wealth of experience and passion for agriculture and education to our FFA Program.

Background/Experience:  As a West Washington graduate and participant in FFA (Future Farmers of America), Bethany’s journey in the FFA has played a pivotal role in shaping her into the confident adult she is today. Her time in the FFA not only prepared her for success at Purdue University, but also laid the foundation for her thriving working adult life. “FFA is not only just based on agricultural events alone, but includes many career development events that teach students career readiness and help prepare them to be the next generation of leaders,” explained Mrs. Hepp.

Achievements in FFA:  Bethany is no stranger to excellence within the FFA. Out of the 900,000 national FFA members, she stands among the elite 4,400 who earned the prestigious American FFA degree in 2023. This is a testament to her passion, commitment to the program, and dedication to achieving significant goals through supervised agricultural experiences. Her journey to obtaining the American FFA degree reflects her perseverance and dedication. “I was so inspired to be a part of that elite group of members and obtain the honor of having my American FFA degree and receiving it at the National FFA convention,” stated Bethany.

Returning to West Washington High School:  Bethany’s path has come full circle as she returns to West Washington High School, where her passion for agriculture and the FFA program first began. Giving back to the students at West Washington and contributing to their growth as future leaders is a source of pride and fulfillment for Bethany.

Purdue University Education:  Bethany's academic journey at Purdue University provided her with a comprehensive view of agriculture. “Studying at Purdue gave me the chance to see a bigger picture of agriculture and develop an education more valuable than any tuition paid. I am forever grateful for every lesson and the challenge that Purdue gave me over the time I was there. Striving for excellence with every student and providing support where it is needed are just some of the many great qualities that a Purdue education has to offer,” mentioned Mrs. Hepp.

West Washington is excited to have Bethany Hepp as part of our team and we look forward to the positive impact she will make on our FFA Program. Join us in welcoming Bethany to our team!
