Staff Spotlight

West Washington Community Schools is proud to spotlight another great addition to our elementary school. Please welcome our newest 4th grade teacher, Skyler Busick.  Skyler joins our staff after previously teaching fifth grade in Florida for five years, as well as fourth grade for four years in Paoli. She is originally from French Lick where she graduated from Springs Valley High School. “I was attracted to West Washington because of the overall climate of the district. I liked where priorities were placed and the student centered atmosphere,” explained Mrs. Busick.

After a few months on the job, Skyler is really enjoying her new opportunity at West Washington.”I love to help children in all areas of learning and in life. I have a passion for instilling the love of learning. I want to make a difference in a child's life by showing compassion and patience,” said Mrs. Busick.

West Washington is equally excited about Skyler joining our team. “Mrs. Busick comes to WWES from Throop Elementary. We were lucky to be able to pull Mrs. Busick away from Throop. Mrs. Busick was highly recommended by her colleagues and brings with her a wealth of knowledge from previously teaching 4th grade. Mrs. Busick is a great addition to WWES,” stated West Washington Elementary Principal, Mr. Tom Rosenbaum.

Skyler has two daughters who now attend West Washington. Harper is in second grade and Wrenley is in first grade. “I love spending my time with friends and family. I enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, attending concerts, listening to podcasts, being in nature, and going on new adventures,” shared Mrs. Busick.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Skyler Busick and her family to Senator Nation!
